At Lookout Pass, we're committed to providing you and your family with a great skiing experience. The snow comes early. It snows regularly. And our climate results in snow that tends to be light and fun to ski. Lookout has 540 skiable acres and 34 named runs, the Lucky Friday Glades and Freestyle Terrain! Two terrain parks with huge banks, mounds, launches, rails, and a 1,111 foot quarter pipe are here for your pleasure. Full service lodge with food, bar, rentals, lessons, 25k of cross-country, snowshoeing. So come play at Lookout this winter!!

 FOOD AND DRINK:
 Lookout’s historic base lodge is the 2nd oldest ski lodge in the northwest. The cedar interior offers delightful warmth reminiscent of vintage lodges of the 1940’s. Enjoy a drink by the fireplace or hot bread bowl of chili in this cozy atmosphere.  RENTALS AND SALES:
 Downhill and Snowboard packages. Full and half day rentals. Credit card deposit required on all snowboard rentals. *Optional: Equipment insurance is available for $1.00.
 
 INSTRUCTION:
 Lookout Pass has great ski and board lessons. Lookout Pass Free Ski School - This is the only program of its kind in the nation!! FREE lessons for children aged 6 - 17 beginning on Saturday January 12 - March 15, 2008. Each child must supply his or her own ski/snowboard equipment. Private and Group lessons available.

Location & Getting Here:

Lookout Pass is located 50 feet from Interstate 90 at Exit 0 just 30 miles from St. Regis or 101 miles from Missoula. From Missoula, Montana head west on Interstate 90 towards Idaho. Lookout is located on the Idaho/Montana border at exit 0 (zero). There is a sign showing the offramp for Lookout Pass shortly before you get to the Idaho border. The parking lot is 200 yards from the I-90 offramp. It is 100 miles to Lookout from Downtown Missoula.


Season Information:

Mid-December operating Thursdays through Mondays and Christmas break. Open daily through the holidays.
