Location & Getting Here:
Moonlight Basin Ranch is located on Highway 64, just off US Highway 191, 50 miles south of Bozeman. Fly Delta/Sky West, Horizon/Alaska, United or Northwest to Bozeman. Shuttles to the Big Sky Area meet most major fights. Car rentals and taxis available at the airport. Now available between Bozeman and Moonlight Basin the Skyline Bus shuttle service.

Season Information:
Thanksgiving - Mid-April, conditions permitting. Open daily 9:00am - 4:00pm.

At Moonlight Basin, guests enjoy long, groomed runs, open bowls and challenging chutes in a truly spectacular setting. Skiers and riders can purchase a lift ticket for seamless skiing between Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Moonlight Basin offers ski-in/ski-out accommodations that access over 5,500 skiable acres at both resorts.  FOOD AND DRINK:
 Three slopeside restaurants offer the perfect place to relax and take a break from skiing. The Border Café at the base of the Pony Express lift offers a variety of pastries, breakfast items and a lunch menu. The Headwaters Grille offers homemade soups, salads and barbecue-style food for lunch. In the Moonlight Lodge, the Timbers Deli has both hot and cold sandwiches.  RENTALS AND SALES:
 The resort's ski and snowboard school offers a wide range of kids and adult instruction. Group instruction is limited to 3 people per coach. The rental shop offers ski and snowboard rentals as well as tuning and waxing. Snowsports school can be reached at 877-822-0432. Snowshoe rentals are also available.
 
 INSTRUCTION:
 Moonlight Basin is excited to bring a new brand of ski, snowboard, and telemark instruction to Big Sky. Moonlight Basin offers a customized instruction program for kids and adults. Instructor-to-student ratios are lower than industry standards, giving guests the high-touch attention they’ve come to know at Moonlight. Plus, instructors can pick-up students right from their lodging unit! Ski and snowboard rentals are also available at our new rental shop location on Madison Avenue at the Madison Base Area.  JUST FOR KIDS:
